Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie

The women’s prison in Hillsborough County was the only “faith-based” women’s prison in Florida with a low recidivism rate of only 6%. Nevertheless, due to budget cuts the doors were officially closed in 2012. I wonder who were it’s inmates, where are they now…
It sits desolate and eerie yet the lights are still on.

      1. Oh I’d love to get into places like this for a little “Urban Exploration,” but my wife would kill me if I got arrested for trespassing. If the doors were open however, I’d plead ignorance and hope for the best. But I sure wouldn’t be breaking in.
